Hi! I’m Miriam, the chef and the heart behind Cooked and Crafted by Miriam. I’m Certified in Holistic Nutrition, and I believe food should nourish you while still tasting really good. I focus on cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients, creating meals that feel balanced, comforting, and made with intention, without ever sacrificing flavor or enjoyment.

I grew up surrounded by many styles of cooking, which shaped a well-rounded and flexible approach in the kitchen. My food is influenced by many cuisines, including Mediterranean, Ashkenazi, Moroccan, and Asian flavors, and I love tailoring each menu to my clients’ tastes and preferences. I prioritize quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation, because food should look as good as it tastes and feel personal to the people eating it.

Based in Brooklyn and serving surrounding areas, I offer weekly meal prep, Shabbos meals, and small events. Every dish I prepare is crafted with care, attention to detail, and an understanding of what busy families need: fresh, nourishing food that makes everyday meals and special moments feel effortless and meaningful.
